Welcome to True North Drawson. These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and True North Drawson Inc., a company incorporated under the laws of Canada with its registered office at 482 Wellington St W, Toronto, ON M5V 1E3, Canada ("True North Drawson", "we", "us", or "our"). The Terms govern your access to and use of the truenorthdrawson.com website, our social casino games, our virtual currency known as Trail Tokens, our membership plans, our community features, and every other product, feature, or service we make available (collectively, the "Service").

Please read these Terms carefully before you create an account or play any of our games. They describe what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and the important limits that apply to everything we offer. If anything in this document is unclear, our support team at support@truenorthdrawson.com will be glad to explain it in plain language before you agree to anything.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing the website, downloading any of our content, spinning a single reel, or otherwise using any part of the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree with any portion of these documents, you must not use the Service, and your only remedy is to stop using it and close your account.

These Terms apply to every visitor, whether you browse as a guest, register a free account, or subscribe to one of our membership plans. Certain features, promotions, seasonal events, or individual games may carry additional rules that we will present to you at the relevant time. Where such additional rules conflict with these Terms, the additional rules govern that specific feature only, and these Terms continue to apply to everything else.

1.1 Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the law, changes in our games and features, or improvements in how we explain ourselves. When we make a material change, we will notify you by email to your registered address, by a prominent notice on the website, or by an in-service message at least fourteen (14) days before the change takes effect, unless the change is required by law to take effect sooner. The effective date at the top of this page will always tell you when the current version came into force.

Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with a revision, you must stop using the Service before the effective date and may close your account by contacting support. Because the Service is free to play and Trail Tokens have no monetary value, closing your account does not entitle you to any payment, credit, or compensation, except for any statutory refund rights described in Section 6.

1.2 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, and any feature-specific rules we publish, constitute the entire agreement between you and True North Drawson Inc. concerning the Service and supersede all prior discussions, representations, and understandings, whether written or oral. No employee, contractor, or community moderator has authority to modify these Terms verbally or through informal messages; only a published revision following the process above can change them.

2. Eligibility

The Service is designed for adult audiences and includes simulated casino-style imagery and mechanics. Accordingly, strict eligibility requirements apply, and we take them seriously.

  • You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time you register and at all times while you use the Service. Where the laws of your province or territory set a higher minimum age for accessing simulated gambling content, that higher age applies to you.
  • The Service is designed for residents of Canada. We build our games, our membership plans, our responsible play resources, and our support hours around a Canadian audience. If you access the Service from outside Canada, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with your local laws, and we may restrict or block access from jurisdictions where the Service may not lawfully be offered.
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your province or territory of residence.
  • You must not be a person who has previously been permanently banned from the Service for a violation of these Terms.
  • You must not have asked us to exclude you from the Service through our self-exclusion tools during the period your exclusion remains active.

By registering, you represent and warrant that you satisfy every requirement above. We may ask you at any time to verify your age or identity with reasonable supporting documentation, such as government-issued identification. If you fail to provide requested verification within a reasonable period, or if the verification shows that you do not meet our eligibility requirements, we may suspend or permanently close your account. Any Trail Tokens or membership benefits associated with an account closed for ineligibility are forfeited, because they never had monetary value in the first place.

Although no real money is involved anywhere in the Service, we recognise that simulated casino play can still occupy more of a person's time and attention than they would like. If you feel your play is becoming unbalanced, we encourage you to use the session reminders and cool-down tools available in your account settings, or to contact organisations such as ConnexOntario, the Responsible Gambling Council, or your provincial support line for free and confidential guidance.

3. Account Registration

You need a registered account to play our games, hold Trail Tokens, and participate in community features. Registration is free. This section explains your obligations when you create and maintain an account.

3.1 Accurate Information

You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information during registration, including your name, date of birth, province of residence, and a valid email address that you control. You further agree to keep this information up to date for as long as your account remains open. Providing false information — including a false date of birth — is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account closure. We rely on the information you give us to satisfy our eligibility rules, to send you legally required notices, and to help you recover your account if you ever lose access to it.

3.2 One Account per Person

Each person may register and maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts — whether to collect welcome bonuses more than once, to evade a suspension, to manipulate leaderboards, or for any other reason — is prohibited. If we detect duplicate accounts, we may merge them, close all but one, or close all of them, at our reasonable discretion, and any Trail Tokens held across duplicate accounts may be adjusted or removed. Accounts are personal to you: you may not sell, rent, gift, or otherwise transfer your account to anyone else, and you may not use an account that belongs to another person.

3.3 Credential Safety

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, including your password and any two-step verification codes. You agree to choose a strong, unique password that you do not reuse on other websites, and to notify us immediately at support@truenorthdrawson.com if you suspect that your credentials have been compromised or that someone has accessed your account without authorisation. Until you notify us, all activity that occurs under your credentials is treated as your activity, and you accept responsibility for it. We will never ask you for your password by email, chat, or telephone, and you should treat any such request as fraudulent.

3.4 Email Verification

When you register, we will send a verification message to the email address you provide. You must complete verification before you can access the full Service, including membership purchases and community features. An account that remains unverified for thirty (30) days may be removed. Keeping a verified, working email address on file is a continuing condition of holding an account, because email is our primary channel for security alerts, billing receipts, and notices about changes to these Terms.

3.5 Dormant Accounts

If your account shows no login activity for a continuous period of twenty-four (24) months, we may classify it as dormant. We will attempt to contact you at your registered email address before taking further action. If you do not respond within the period stated in our notice, we may close the dormant account and remove any Trail Token balance associated with it. Because Trail Tokens have no monetary value, no compensation is payable for balances removed from dormant accounts.

4. User Conduct

True North Drawson is a place to relax, spin, and share a laugh with fellow players and our mascot Wilfred. To keep it that way, everyone who uses the Service must follow the conduct rules in this section. These rules apply to gameplay, community chat, display names, avatars, and every other way you interact with the Service or with other players.

4.1 Prohibited Behaviour

You agree that you will not, and will not attempt to, do any of the following:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable federal, provincial, or municipal law or regulation.
  • Harass, threaten, bully, defame, or intimidate any other player, employee, or moderator, or post content that is hateful, discriminatory, obscene, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, including True North Drawson staff, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
  • Solicit personal information from other players, or share another person's private information without their consent.
  • Advertise, promote, or link to real-money gambling services, or use the Service to advertise any third-party product or service without our prior written consent.
  • Offer to buy, sell, trade, or transfer Trail Tokens, accounts, or any other element of the Service, whether inside or outside the Service.
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other code designed to interrupt, damage, or limit the functioning of the Service or any user's device.

4.2 No Cheating, Automation, or Exploits

The integrity of our games matters even though nothing of monetary value is at stake, because fair play is what makes leaderboards, tournaments, and community events fun. You therefore agree that you will not:

  • Use bots, scripts, macros, auto-clickers, headless browsers, or any other form of automation to play games, claim bonuses, or interact with the Service.
  • Exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended behaviour in any game or feature. If you discover a bug, you must report it to support@truenorthdrawson.com rather than use it, and you must not disclose it publicly before we have had a reasonable opportunity to fix it.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, or random number generation methods of any game, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or its networks, including through denial-of-service attacks, request flooding, or probing for vulnerabilities without authorisation.
  • Circumvent, disable, or tamper with any security feature, rate limit, or access control we put in place.
  • Manipulate leaderboard standings, tournament outcomes, or community events through collusion with other accounts or any other unfair method.

4.3 Respectful Community

Our community spaces are moderated. Moderators may hide or remove content, mute chat privileges, or escalate serious matters to account suspension when the conduct rules are broken. Moderation decisions are made in good faith and are final, although you may ask support to review a decision you believe was mistaken. We ask every player to extend the same courtesy online that they would in person: assume good intent, disagree politely, and remember that there is a human being on the other side of every screen. Content you post in community areas must be your own or content you have the right to share, and by posting it you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it within the Service for as long as it remains posted.

4.4 Consequences of Violations

Depending on the severity and frequency of a violation, we may issue a warning, remove content, temporarily restrict features, adjust or reset Trail Token balances gained through prohibited conduct, suspend your account, or permanently terminate it as described in Section 11. We may also report unlawful conduct to the appropriate authorities and cooperate with any resulting investigation.

5. Virtual Currency

Trail Tokens are the virtual currency of True North Drawson. This section is one of the most important parts of these Terms, and we ask you to read it with particular care.

5.1 How Trail Tokens Work

We grant Trail Tokens to players free of charge in many ways: as a welcome balance on registration, through daily login rewards, as prizes in community events and tournaments, through seasonal promotions, and as goodwill gestures from our support team. Members on our Bronze, Silver, Gold, and VIP plans receive recurring allotments of Trail Tokens as one of the conveniences of membership, as described in Section 6. Trail Tokens are consumed when you place simulated wagers in our games, and the outcomes of those games are determined by certified random number generation for entertainment purposes only.

5.2 No Transfer, Sale, or Redemption

Trail Tokens are personal to your account. You may not transfer them to another account, gift them to another player, pool them with others, sell them, trade them, auction them, or use them as consideration in any transaction, whether inside or outside the Service. Any secondary market in Trail Tokens or True North Drawson accounts is prohibited, and we will treat participation in such a market — as buyer or seller — as a material breach of these Terms. Any purported sale or transfer of Trail Tokens is void and confers no rights on anyone.

5.3 Licence, Not Property

When you receive Trail Tokens, whether free of charge or as part of a paid membership, you receive only a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use those Trail Tokens within the Service, for entertainment, in accordance with these Terms. You do not acquire any ownership interest, property right, or claim in or to Trail Tokens, and no balance shown in your account represents a debt owed to you by True North Drawson Inc. Amounts paid for membership plans purchase the membership service itself, including its Trail Token allotments as a feature of that service; they do not purchase Trail Tokens as property.

5.4 Adjustments and Resets

We manage the Trail Token economy to keep the games balanced and fun for everyone. Accordingly, we reserve the right, acting reasonably, to modify the rate at which Trail Tokens are granted or consumed, to change the simulated denominations used in games, to expire promotional Trail Tokens after a stated period, to correct balances affected by errors, bugs, or prohibited conduct, and — where necessary for the integrity of the Service — to adjust or reset Trail Token balances in whole or in part. Where a broad adjustment is planned, we will give reasonable advance notice. Because Trail Tokens have no monetary value, no adjustment, expiry, or reset gives rise to any right to compensation.

5.5 Not Gambling

Because nothing of value can be staked and nothing of value can be won, playing True North Drawson games is not gambling under Canadian law. Our games are entertainment products, comparable to any other video game with chance-based mechanics. We make no representation that the odds, pay tables, or outcomes in our games resemble those of any real-money casino game, and practising on our games will not improve your performance or prospects in real-money gambling of any kind.

6. Membership Services

True North Drawson is free to play, and it always will be. For players who want extra convenience, we offer four optional membership plans: Bronze at 4.99 per month, Silver at 9.99 per month, Gold at 19.99 per month, and VIP at 39.99 per month. All prices are stated in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes unless otherwise indicated at checkout. Memberships provide conveniences such as larger recurring Trail Token allotments, additional cosmetic themes, early access to new games, priority support, and exclusive community events. The exact benefits of each tier are described on our membership page and may evolve over time.

6.1 Billing and Renewal

Memberships are billed in advance on a monthly cycle to the payment method you provide, starting on the date you subscribe. Each membership renews automatically at the end of every billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorise us and our payment processor to charge the recurring fee to your payment method each period. If a renewal payment fails, we will notify you and retry the charge; if payment cannot be collected within a reasonable period, your membership benefits will be paused until payment succeeds or the plan is cancelled. We will give you at least thirty (30) days' notice by email before any change to membership pricing, and a price change will apply only from your next renewal after the notice period, giving you time to cancel if you do not accept the new price.

6.2 Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time through your account settings or by emailing support@truenorthdrawson.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period: you keep your membership benefits until that date, and you will not be charged again afterwards. Cancelling a membership does not close your account — you can continue playing free of charge for as long as you like. Trail Tokens already credited to your account before cancellation remain available for play, subject to the rest of these Terms.

6.3 Refunds

Except where these Terms or applicable law provide otherwise, membership fees are non-refundable once a billing period has begun, because the benefits of membership are delivered continuously throughout the period. However, nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you hold under applicable consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) and the equivalent legislation of your province or territory. Where such legislation grants you a right to cancel and receive a refund — for example, in specified cases involving internet agreements — we will honour that right in full. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@truenorthdrawson.com within thirty (30) days of the charge and we will investigate promptly and correct any billing mistake we find.

6.4 No Odds Advantages

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and everything in it — including all games, game mechanics as expressed in our software, artwork, illustrations, animations, video, music, sound effects, text, user interface designs, logos, trademarks, trade dress, and characters, including our mascot Wilfred and every expression of his likeness, personality, and catchphrases — are owned by True North Drawson Inc. or licensed to us by our partners, and are protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and use the Service for your own private, non-commercial entertainment. This licence is the entirety of your rights in the Service. Without our prior written permission, you may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or publicly perform any part of the Service, other than incidental sharing of screenshots or short clips of your own gameplay for personal, non-commercial purposes with proper attribution.
  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Service or any of its content, including the character Wilfred.
  • Use our trademarks, logos, or the True North Drawson name in any way that suggests endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation.
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice appearing in the Service.
  • Use any content from the Service to train, fine-tune, or evaluate machine learning models, or scrape or harvest content by automated means.

All rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms are reserved by True North Drawson Inc. and its licensors. If you send us suggestions, feedback, or ideas about the Service, you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation, though we will always appreciate them. If you believe that any content in the Service infringes your intellectual property rights, please write to support@truenorthdrawson.com with sufficient detail for us to investigate, and we will respond promptly.

8. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Our collection, use, disclosure, and retention of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is available at all times through the footer of every page and forms part of your agreement with us. The Privacy Policy explains, among other things, what information we collect when you register and play, how we use cookies and similar technologies (as further detailed in our Cookie Policy), the limited circumstances in which we share information with service providers, how long we keep information, and the rights you hold under Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial legislation.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to read the Privacy Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you hold under applicable privacy legislation. If you have questions or wish to exercise a privacy right — such as requesting access to or correction of your personal information — you can reach our privacy contact at support@truenorthdrawson.com, and we will respond within the timelines the law requires.

9. Disclaimer

We work hard to make True North Drawson reliable, polished, and fun, but no online service can promise perfection, and we do not. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and all content, games, Trail Tokens, memberships, and features are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties, representations, or conditions of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including any implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, or non-infringement.

Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant or represent that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or free from errors, bugs, or defects, or that any defect will be corrected within any particular period.
  • The Service will be available at all times or from all locations, or will be compatible with every device, browser, or operating system.
  • Any Trail Token balance, game history, leaderboard position, cosmetic item, or other record will be preserved indefinitely or will be free from loss or corruption.
  • The results of any game reflect the odds, mechanics, or pay tables of any real-money casino game.
  • Any content posted by other players is accurate, appropriate, or reliable.

Some jurisdictions, including certain Canadian provinces, do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or conditions in consumer contracts. To the extent such laws apply to you, the exclusions above apply only to the fullest extent those laws permit, and any statutory warranty that cannot be excluded is limited in duration to the shortest period permitted by law. Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for our own gross negligence or wilful misconduct where applicable law prohibits its exclusion.

10. Limitation of Liability

This section allocates risk between you and us and is a fundamental element of the bargain that allows us to offer a free service. Please read it carefully.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, True North Drawson Inc., its directors, officers, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers will not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms, including loss of enjoyment, loss of data, loss of Trail Tokens or other virtual items, loss of goodwill, loss of anticipated savings, or the cost of substitute services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages and regardless of the theory of liability, whether contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or otherwise.

To the same maximum extent, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms, however caused, will not exceed the greater of: (a) the total membership fees you actually paid to us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; and (b) one hundred (100) Canadian dollars expressed here as a numeric amount for clarity. Because Trail Tokens have no monetary value, their loss, adjustment, expiry, or reset can never form the basis of a monetary claim.

The limitations in this section do not apply to: (a) liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the consumer protection laws of your province or territory; or (d) your statutory refund rights described in Section 6.3. Where applicable law permits limitation but not exclusion of a category of liability, that liability is limited to the fullest extent the law allows. Each provision of this section operates separately, and if any part is found unenforceable, the remaining parts continue in full force.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless True North Drawson Inc. and its directors, officers, and employees from and against any third-party claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of applicable law in connection with the Service, or content you post in community areas, except to the extent the claim results from our own fault.

11. Suspension and Termination

11.1 Termination by You

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time, for any reason, by using the account closure option in your settings or by emailing support@truenorthdrawson.com from your registered address. Closure takes effect promptly after we verify the request. Any active membership will run until the end of its current paid period unless you also cancel it, and any Trail Token balance is extinguished on closure without compensation, as Trail Tokens have no monetary value.

11.2 Suspension or Termination by Us

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to some or all of the Service, with or without prior notice, where we reasonably believe that:

  • You have materially breached these Terms, including the eligibility rules in Section 2, the account rules in Section 3, or the conduct rules in Section 4.
  • You have used cheating tools, automation, or exploits, or have participated in the prohibited buying or selling of Trail Tokens or accounts.
  • Your account has been compromised, or suspension is necessary to protect you, other players, or the Service from fraud or security risk.
  • We are required to do so by law, by a regulator, or by a court order.
  • Your conduct exposes us, our players, or our staff to harm, harassment, or legal liability.

For minor or first-time issues we will normally begin with a warning or a temporary restriction and, where practical, give you an opportunity to respond before more serious measures are taken. For severe violations — including cheating, fraud, harassment, or unlawful conduct — we may terminate immediately. If your account is terminated for breach, we may also decline to accept any future registration by you. Upon any termination, the licences granted to you in these Terms end at once, and any remaining Trail Tokens and membership benefits are forfeited without compensation, except that we will refund any pre-paid membership fees on a pro-rata basis where we terminate without cause or where applicable consumer law so requires.

11.3 Discontinuing the Service

We may modify, suspend, or permanently discontinue the Service, or any game or feature within it, at any time. If we plan to discontinue the Service entirely, we will give registered players at least sixty (60) days' notice by email and on the website, will stop taking new membership payments, and will refund the unused pro-rata portion of any active membership period. No payment or compensation is due in respect of Trail Tokens or other virtual items on discontinuation, because they have no monetary value.

11.4 Survival

Sections 5 (Virtual Currency), 7 (Intellectual Property), 9 (Disclaimer), 10 (Limitation of Liability), 12 (Governing Law), and any other provision that by its nature should survive, will survive the closure or termination of your account and any discontinuation of the Service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service, whether contractual or non-contractual, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without regard to conflict of laws principles that would apply the law of another jurisdiction.

Subject to the paragraph below, you and we agree that the courts of the Province of Ontario, sitting in Toronto, will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, and each of us irrevocably submits to the jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section prevents you from bringing a claim in the courts of your own province or territory, or from pursuing a complaint through a consumer protection authority, where applicable consumer legislation grants you a non-waivable right to do so; nor does it prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at support@truenorthdrawson.com and give us thirty (30) days to try to resolve the matter informally — in our experience, almost every issue can be sorted out with a conversation. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable by a court, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that right or provision. You may not assign these Terms or any rights under them without our prior written consent; we may assign these Terms to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, provided your rights are not materially reduced. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. It is the express wish of the parties that these Terms and all related documents be drawn up in English; les parties conviennent que les présentes conditions soient rédigées en anglais.
